Aluhome foil roll package
Client :
Aluhome is a company that manufactures foil and plastic roll
Design Problem :
The client's problem was to create a folding package for a 7m long foil, at the lower cost as possible.
My brief was to use only blue and yellow tones.
To support the client's green credentials, the imagery had to refer to 'eco friendliness'. One of the sides of this packaging had to be sharpened in order to cut the foil easily.
Solution :
The proposal was a rectangular length package. Four sides same dimensions.
I used tones in graduating blues and yellows simulating the finishing of foil. I added the image of a dolphin with a suggested message "keep environment safe".
Furthermore, I designed the sharpened edge in one of the side-box as requested.
Conclusion :
This project was time critical with a short turn around. The client had to bring the package out to the market as soon as possible. if I could make further changes I would improve the style of the design by adding additional colours.
